When Will StarCraft 2 Beta Testing Ends?

Blizzard Entertainment, publisher of the famous World of Warcraft (WOW) announced that they are closing the beta testing for the real-time strategy sequel to the 1998 hit StarCraft, StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty.

A lot of players worldwide are waiting for the official launch of this game and it is reported that this 3D graphics version of the battle between the protoss, terrans and zerg will be officially release on the first half of this year.

In a report from CNET.com, the company said that in their beta release there are thousands of people who is currently in the beta test. One of the main thrusts of the testing at this stage is for the company to get as much feedback as possible on the "multiplayer balance" of the game. In addition, the testers will be the first to experience Blizzard's reworked Battle.net online platform, which will be used for StarCraft II, WoW and all future Blizzard games, the company said. The new Battle.net will launch with StarCraft II.

One reason that they've seen that causes the delay of the launch of the StarCraft 2 is the delay in getting Battle.net ready.

Watch Road to Dallas - the Pacquiao vs Clottey Documentary Series

Today, I have read that there will be no Pacquiao vs Clottey HBO 24/7. Instead HBO will present a new kind of series for the said mega fight, Pacquiao vs Clottey. The title of the series will be Pacquiao vs Clottey Road to Dallas. It will show the practice, the people behind the fight, and other stuff that we always see from boxing the doc series. This documentary series will be premiered by HBO on March 6, a week before the actual fight then it will be shown its replay on other schedule specified below:

Shutter Island on Friday - Will I Watch It?

This coming Friday, February 19, there will be a new movie that will be on theaters. Its a drama, mystery and thriller type of movie from the award-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio entitled Shutter Island. I like to watch films like this and nowadays it is just too difficult to find some that really makes me to think on what really happens. The last time that I felt the word "fear" was the "Final Destination" movie. I don't like movies that contains a lot of hacking and bloody scenes but I prefer movies that plays in your mind and really makes you think "Hey What Happen?"

This is the reason why I will watch Shutter Island on Friday or later, on theaters or possibly through online streaming. However, I am still reading some reviews of the movie and some of them criticized the movie negatively. Well, I usually I don't believe immediately in reviews like this and watch it for myself before I conclude that a certain movie really sucks or really hits hard. In this case, I am expecting so much on the movie. I hope I won't be disappointed.

Sikat Ang Pinoy on Valentines Day

That's right! Filipino in the day of hearts will be popular. The February 14, will be the day for modern heroes to show themselves to the world how great we are in our own means. I have introduced these Filipinos on my previous post and I am referring to Pinoy Power 3 fighters that will be clashing against the Latino Fury 13 on Sunday. Despite some changes on the line up of fighters (dropping Gerson Guerrero as opponent of Donaire and making Manuel Vargas to replace him), still the match on the day is a fight that we should wait.

I am watching it and will see how the Filipinos will shout "sikat ang pinoy" after their opponents throw their towels and kiss the canvass. I am expecting for Bernabe Concepcion, Gerry Penalosa and Kid Terrible Morales to win the fight but of course, we can't take for granted the Mexican fighters. They are strong but the determination of the pinoy are really enough to take home a win.

5 Years. . .

Today marks the 5 year anniversary of my manz S.I.'s (Ian Ferro's) passing. He was part of this huge Verbal Taktiks crew (yes theres more than 3 of us), above all that...he was a good friend. Loved by many, he had a great personality...very easy to get along with, had an open mind to things...very creative and understanding. He resided in Duval, Florida...Loud Mouth Of The South...with more talent than most, word play was nice...lyrically impeckable. He had many friends in this big crew of ours (about 16 of us), many more friends outside of us, many fans...and above all...family. I want to offer my condolences to his family, to my fellow crew...my little sister Jas and to all those who knew, adored and loved him. Theres far much more that could be said about Ian but I'm going to end this memo like this...Ian...as your friends...your family...we miss and love you. God bless you Ian Ferro. Rest in peace.

Where I Will Watch Pinoy Power III: Donaire vs. Guerrero this Sunday?

One of the fight that I will definitely watch this Sunday is the Pinoy Power III that features the fight between Filipino fighters and the best of Latino boxers. It is a showdown of the best of the best featuring Nonito Donaire vs. Gerson Guerrero plus other undercard fights of top caliber fighters of the Philippines such as Bernabe Concepcion and Gerry Penalosa versus the Latino Fury.

Now, where I will watch it. I usually go to Telepisodes.com or ShowFreeVids.com to check on the online streaming links but if in case I can't find anything on the site, I will watch it on ABS-CBN which will be aired on Sunday starting at 10 'o clock in the morning.

But usually these two sites, shows some great channels on the web to share several boxing fights and will just announce here later if they really does and will copy their links if in case they provided some.

Now, with regards to the Pinoy Power 3, I believe that the Filipino fighters have a greater chance to beat all of their opponents on this upcoming boxing events. It will show how sikat ang pinoy - popular when it comes to boxing skills and determination.

Aiight what's up everybody! I'm Professor Xavier comin from PITTSBBURG California! I make underground sample based hip-hop beats! Lets see here I started out fallin in love with music as a child, I was exposed to all that good oldies from my parents and other family members at a real young age and ever since then I couldn't do anything with out it. I couldn't go any where with out headphones on, was always dubbin tapes off the radio when little makin my own mixes n shit like that. As time went on I started diving deep into underground hip-hop, seemed like that scene always had more to offer. (groups like hieroglyphics, living legends, bored stiff, etc) By the time I was in high school I was deep in the lifestyle, in summer school writin rhymes to pass the times (ooohhh! haha) I knew a cat who made beats and I've always wanted to get involved with music some how so I'd sit back and try to learn what he was doin (I eventually got the programs he was usin to make beats) then months later he met this group by the name of VERBAL TAKTIKS and they were young cats with their own apartment so we'd gather there, rhyme, make beats and party. They were dope, so I'd just sit back, soak it all in, then when I'd return home I'd practice what I learned, I even got better than some of the people I was learnin from! I did this on and off, didn't get too serious till after high school. I use FL studio, cool edit to chop samples and drums from records and a weak gemini turntable and stanton mixer to listen to records. I've been told my beats can make you sit and think, I love bein able to make something that fits my mood. I love dirty/gritty drums! I'd say I've mainly got a bored stiff/east coast influence when pickin and choosin samples and drums. I in-house produce for Verbal Taktiks and I'm currently workin with Equipto and the bored stiff fam. Equipto said it best. I feel these few bars right here suit me well: "Every day I wake up and grab a tape, or cd of hip-hop and try to get away/ contemplatin the break and decodin the rhyme/ and I fall into the rhythm of every line" thats how I start the day, EVERY DAY!
