NFL News - Rice heads to Seattle

Lots of news and notes from Wednesday's transactional rumor mill around the NFL:
* Wide receiver Santonio Holmes agrees to a five-year, $50 million deal with the Jets with $24 million guaranteed.
* Wide receivers Donte' Stallworth and Brandon Stokely sign with Washington. The Redskins also trade for WR Jabar Gaffney.

* Panthers sign RB D'Angelo Williams to a five-year deal worth about $43 million, $21 million guaranteed.

* The Vikings and Redskins reportedly have agreed to trade QB Donovan McNabb to Minnesota for a pair of 6th round picks.

* QB Tyler Thigpen has been traded to Buffalo.


* Saftey Eric Waddle stays with the Chargers.

* Free agent defensive back Nnamdi Asomugha is considering the 49ers and the Jets.

* The NY Giants have given head coach Tom Coughlin a one-year contract extension.

* WR Randy Moss is looking at the Jets.

* Indications of a Kevin Kolb - Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie trade have perked up with the news of Rodgers-Cromartie jerseys being available in Eagle green.

* WR Sidney Rice moves from Minnesota to Seattle while WR Steve Breaston goes East from Arizona to Kansas City.
