Red Sox set to get Rich Harden

I like this move for the Red Sox.  Instead of giving away the farm (4 top level prospects like Cleveland did for Ubaldo Jimenez), the Red Sox are on the heels of getting Rich Harden from the Athletics in a deal involving minor league 1st baseman Lars Anderson.

I like the deal because Rich Harden is a bulldog who throws strikes. He's 57-35 with a 3.65 ERA and 1.28 WHIP along with a 2-1 strike out to walk ratio.  Sure, he just came off the disabled list but has gone to the tune of a 2-1 record with a 4.30 ERA, 9.2 K/9 and 3.1 BB/9 in 29 1/3 innings.  Plus, he only makes $1.5 million this season.
