As an important part of the
Shame on NV Energy community, you are well aware of the company’s questionable
practices. They have closed customer service centers, raised our rates to the
highest of any Mountain state, and they are paying their executives excessive
salaries.

Now – we can help one of our
favorite Nevada businesses to fight back by rallying this coming
Monday, July 11th to Save the Attic. There will rallies from 8:00am-10:00am as well as from 4:00pm-6:00pm. Come to one or both!

Last year, an NV Energy
transformer in Las
Vegas exploded,
forcing many businesses to close and causing many of our fellow Nevadans to
lose their jobs. You’re probably not surprised to learn that NV Energy hasn’t
fixed the problem.

Now, one of the businesses
affected by the explosion – The Attic, a vintage clothes store and Vegas
mainstay – is in imminent danger of closing its doors for good. They’re holding
a rally this Monday and you can send NV Energy a strong message by showing up
and making your voice heard.
