The "White Privilege" by: @wwwgabecom

Some people think that being racist is only viewing a race negatively. What about puttin’ a race on a pedestal, even if it's done subconsciously? Most, if not all of us, do this on the regular and don't even notice it. But just being born a white kid, you're already at an advantage in the community and you did nothing to get it. Vice versa, minorities are at a disadvantage. Lemme explain my thoughts…

A white person can basically move to pretty much any neighborhood and not have the fear of some people reacting negatively towards them. They can go shopping and not have the feeling that all eyes are on them. White people don't have to make their children aware of the discriminations that may exist against them, because, for the most part, discriminations against white people don't really exist like that! A simple example; people talking with a mouthful of food. Sounds stupid right? But picture being at the mall, just chillin at the food court. There could be a group of white people in full conversation, all of which are blabbin away with food in their mouth. The most anyone would do is laugh at their lack of table manners. Let that be being a minority doing it, maybe even me, and listen to the adlibs change. You hear comments like, "look at this uneducated (ignorant) guy!" They [white people] can wear whatever they want to, almost anywhere they want to, without having to think about what people gonna say about them. A white person gets a position of power and the rest of the office doesn't seem surprised. But, when a minority gets that same promotion and it's a wave of “wow, what an accomplishment,” throughout the office. If a cop pulls them [white people] over they dont have any reason to believe it's because of their skin color. They can ask to “speak to a manager” in stores, and 9x out of 10 its probably someone of their skin color.

Another stupid thing, they can buy picture frames, and the model people in the frame are always what ? … caucasian. They can be late without having it associated with their race. How many times have I been late and people go, “Gabe runs on 'Dominican time,' ” meaning what exactly ? that Dominicans are always late ? I guess so. *shrug*

I can go on for days with common examples. But am I being racist? I dont think so, but maybe I have a bias opinion because of my own experiences. Regardless of the fact you can't say anything I just said ain't true. I'm Dominican and I read all of those things and think about if I did it, how would people react.

It's nothing against the white race because as I stated it's nothing they worked to get. They were born with The “White Privilege.”

Strength Of Love

Sometimes I wish I never knew what love was
It's great but hurts like hell when it's gone.
I want it back and next time hope it's for good.

The first time I feel in love all I could say was "Wow!"
Back then it made no sense to me at all. Feeling strange all the time. Thinking of a person more than usual just because you couldn't get them off your mind. Feeling empty when they were not around or haven't talked to them in a while. Always vulnerable to your heart breaking at any moment if the person acted like you didn't exsist. Those were some of the feelings of my younger days on the subject of love.

Growing up and learning a few things here and there. Regardless if it was good times or rough having money or none at all didn't change how love affected my heart. Still feeling a great amount of emotions when involved with that special someone. To this day love, as a whole, is a mystery to me but I have figured out some parts such as what it means to me, and what it can do to a person. When you first experience love, it can hit you hard and change your outlook on life. It can even be addicting to some in the sense that they don't know how to let go of a lost love. Learning how to move on and be patient for the next time it comes your way.

When I fell in love the second time, I thought it was something sent from heaven. Everything seemed so right. We were totally compatible in so many ways.
Did random fun things all the time to keep things interesting. We had married couples
look at us and say how do you guys do it; stay happy and love each other so much without
getting tired of each other? I had no idea and I'm sure she didn't either. But we were 2 young adults living a healthy successful life with love in the picture. We worked out many issues through talking because we felt that was they best way to get through things involving the heart and things on our minds that weren't clicking with each other. Of course like any other normal couple, we almost made the mistake of leaving each other when times got rough we realized after all we had been through and saw each other through, it was worth standing by each other once again. And we did and it made our love for each other stronger.

The best part of love is knowing that someone else has deep feelings for you and would do almost anything for you without question. Knowing you can keep it real with them without being judged like you are in mass society. Another aspect of great importance was the love making. Yes love making not just wam bam n keep it moving sex. If you have made love before you know how it feels. Looking deeply into their eyes, holding each other close, grinding it out with each other slowly so you feel each thrust and squeeze. Kissing, expressing without words how much u care about them during sex felt great to me and I'm sure it does for those who get to experience it.

This lady had me thinking I was in heaven every time we touched. We were two of the same
kind. Certified freaks with a passion for sex. And even better love making. We were always on that Karma Sutra tip. Doing all kind of wild moves and positions. Even making some up along the way. How love played a part in it was that we knew when we wanted to have sex and when to make love without asking the other for it.

I'll tell it like this. After you have had years of outgoing fun with someone you care a lot about you learn things about yourself. You learn what it's like to make someone else happy by sharing your love with them on a daily basis. You know you don't need anything in return except for them to just be there with you to share the moments that pass by whether good or bad. Because they make you happy regardless of what they can do or buy you to make you feel better.

Losing all of that at once nearly took my life into hell on earth. All that love gone after all those years felt like I was dying slowly inside. It was hard to sleep at night, I couldn't function normally with daily routines. Constantly just wishing they would appear at my doorstep and say "I love you, let's start over." But that never came. A love was lost and we both had to move on. Not an easy task but its necessary for you to keep your life moving and endure to the next step.

It taught me a lot. Only being in love a few times can do that when you know it was real
from experience. Love is great, emotional, healthy, spiritual, sexy & necessary for our
hearts at some point in life. The wise say "It is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all."

Let love teach you not control you.
Let love heal you not destroy you.
Let love free you not imprison you.
Let love find you, don't search for it, yo'll always search in the wrong places.
Let love be a desire not a confused lust for affection.
Let love change your life for the better and share it with the world.
Don't let love slip away too easy.

The Truth About The Truth

it seems nowadays that everyone wants to associate themselves with people who keep it "real" or basically people who dont BS or sugarcoat things. The sad fact is that most people can't accept the truth at all, and even worse, they complain about it. Why request something that you cant handle? An answer I hear often is that you're "too brutally honest". Let's get this straight right now: there is NO such thing as being "too" honest. The truth is the truth no matter what way you put it, you can't ask for someones honest feelings or opinion about something, then get mad when their answer isn't what you wanted to hear. THE TRUTH HURTS. If you have a hard time listening to peoples feelings, or you think everyone should say things that will boost your head, you have a HARD life ahead of you. Especially when it comes to women always looking for a "real" dude, but when they have one, they don't appreciate his honesty and claim it's him "not caring about my feelings". The truth about the truth is that most people can't handle it, so they lie to cover up their true emotions. Lets bring the truth back with NO exceptions!!

What Not To Tweet

Over the past couple of weeks I have been noticing some strange activities happening with my Twitter.
The main one being, the mass amount of people unfollowing me because of 1 dumb tweet.
So the question I have is: What exactly gives someone the right to unfollow someone, especially someone
who has followed them back?

Everyone knows it is common Twitter courtesy to follow back those that follow you, but does 1 sour tweet give you the right to
break that mutuality and unfollow, or even block someone? In my opinion, no, it doesn't. You do not know a person completely
from 1 tweet. You cannot define whether you like that person as a whole or not, from 1 tweet. Don't get me wrong, there are
certain situations where 1 tweet could be all you need to know about someone to know you would no longer like to follow them.
Something you strongly disagree with, such as "Hail Satan" or "All gay people are going to hell", could trigger you to unfollow/block
or initiate 'Twitter Drama'. That, I can agree with. But when someone tweets "At the mall", and you automatically assume this person
is full of stupid and pointless tweets, well that's just plain stupid. Yes, some, even most people will not Tweet up to your expectations, but
that shouldn't cause you to blow things out of proportion and go around abusing the 'block' button.

Now, read this carefully, especially for you people that constantly talk about 'Twitter is NOT that serious" and what not. Please, save me
the petty ignorance. Honestly, I believe people say this because they want their followers to assume they live this great and magnificent
life and have no real need for Twitter. Well let me tell you something, although you may disagree, I do believe Twitter IS that serious.
Why? Well take a second to think about it. Twitter is an instant way to release your thoughts, ideas, opinions, original quotes, etc. If you tweet with substance, and see people loving your original ideas, that gives you a feeling of self confidence, and almost inspires you to continue posting your deep quotes or even comical tweets. You may even start to feel pretty good about yourself, knowing something you wrote could have completely turned a complete stranger's day, for the better. On the other hand, if people disagree or always dislike what you have to say, well then obviously you have a personal problem you need to resolve, and Twitter might not be the place for you, as people can be relentless when it comes to telling you what they really think, straight up.

People want juicy tweets, that's what attracts someone into viewing your profile, and maybe even following you for more. People want to read fresh ideas with strong positive energy. This applies to whether your ideas be comical, or sensitive.

Now this brings me back to my question. What gives someone the right to unfollow you? What gives you the right to unfollow someone else?
Well although I am sure some of you could think of more, I myself came up with 3 different answers.

1. That person unfollowed you first. Most of us are not celebrities, do not expect anyone to be your 'fan' or care about you, when you can't even show a little love in return.

2. If you do not communicate and respond to your followers, you don't really give them a reason to follow you. (Unless your tweets are genius of course). A lot of people look to communicate and network with others from around the word. Remember, communication is key!

3. Spam/Pointless/Depressive/Rude tweets.
-Basically anyone that posts nothing but crap like: 'breathing' or useless links.
-This also includes those people who post a sad tweet, after sad tweet, after sad tweet. Okay, we get it, your life sucks. Can we move on now?
-RUDE PEOPLE. Personally, I dislike having to read crap about someone who does nothing but make fun and judge others all day. Commonly cursing and just spreading hate. Don't get me wrong, I'll be the first to drop the 'F' bomb in a conversation, just because cursing makes everything funnier. But there IS a line. Find it, do not cross it, and all will be chill.
And last but not least those who tweet about their sexual frustrations 24/7. Look, we understand you're lonely, but guess what? Nobody cares.

Like I said, there are TONS of other reason why you might unfollow someone, but these 3 reasons are the ones I found to be some of the most common.
These are indeed my personal thoughts, and I'm sure you all might not agree with them. IF that is the case, feel free to keep it to yourself, because I do not care. :)

I Must Be GAY !!!

by @KingBinaca

*THE ELEMENTS CONTAINED IN THIS ENTRY ARE INFLUENCED BY REAL-LIFE EXPERIENCES*

I must be gay...

"Game is foreign language to me...
Lies...no, deceit is the language we speak.
Women deceived and left from harsh beginnings to grieve.
Unlimited seeds sown that breed seeds of conceit
-Males- continue to speak sweet speaks sweet nothings
that continuously...seek, to destroy, meanacingly,
the trust that we could never...acheive."

I look in your eyes, I speak to you. I am, ME. Binaca Joseph Mason.
Unfortunately, because you...no WE have been taught...no BRAINWASHED
into believing that the proof of a man's expression of manhood lies in
his sexuality. If my words don't find their resting place underneath
your clothes, in your most private places, I must be gay.

God FORBID you decide to front me on it.
"N**ga! You gay!" he or she might say.
"No, I'm not." I reply with a calm look on my face. BUT because I
don't yell and scream and lose my composure to appease the suspicious
and warped and skewed STANDARDS that you measure by...I must be gay.

WHERE ARE OUR STANDARDS?! WHERE IS OUR RESPECT?! Why does Lust reign
supreme to the point that it generates and breeds FAILURE, PAIN, &
IGNORANCE?

So since when is speaking to a woman with respect, intelligence, and
genuine interest PAST THE 1st CONVERSATION considered homo? Yall Fools
trip me the hell out...I must be gay.

*TRUE SITUATION* A woman I met wants to give away her virginity to
keep a man, because all of her past boyfriends left her because she
was a virgin. In her eyes, sex = success in love. As much as I'd like
to say it, its not out of pure ignorance of her own accord. This
society has forced that option on her. But, because I told her that
her body is precious and her virginity is a GOOD thing...homeboy to
the left was convinced...that I must be gay.

AIDS/HIV and an endless list of STD/STI's...but that don't mean
[nothin] to anyone. If I won't take the risk to hit...I must be gay.

Sex ain't bad...but what most have failed to realize is that not
having it ain't bad either. Abstinence is a curse word to those
consumed in their way. Celibacy- a code word that, according to the
standards set by our penises and vaginas, for me, a negro American,
means that...you guessed it...I must be gay.

Pregnancy...I think I've said enough.

When it comes to women I'm loyal, considerate, respectful. I'm a
friend, a confidant, a consultant, a shoulder, an ear, a voice, a
heart. I'm patient, longsuffering, gentle, open, understanding,
loving, caring. I provide, I give, I contribute, I build, I encourage,
I nurture, I do all that I can, because that's who B.J. Mason is.

I know what love is...and I actually LOVE women. But because I show
love in its true form to a woman...

...I must be gay.

**CLOSE**
Love...

Spanking: Is It Okay?

First, get your mind out of the gutter because this is actually a very good question that I think from generation to generation has become more and more taboo. Those of us with parents born in the 60's-70's remember what it's like to feel the wrath of the parent, and for a lot of us the dreaded phrase, "wait 'til yo' Daddy get home" was worse than walking down Death Row. But this new generation of parents 80's - 90's seem like discipline is limited to words and not action.

Some say it's wrong to hit your kids because they learn violence but I think that is only true when discipline becomes abuse, I feel some people don't know they difference so I want to map out a simplistic scorecard out for you to make it a little easier.

I think you get the point now. The bottom line is, don't electrocute someone when a simple static shock will suffice them. Spanking is about deterring bad behavior by inflicting a fear parental disappointment, not pain. Spank your child just hard enough to show their actions were unacceptable, bruising means you went too far.

Okay let’s do a quick test to see if you pass …
Which of the below photos is more likely the result of proper discipline?

Baby Jadakiss? or Bloody Timmy?

If you got this one wrong then you are probably destined to raise a child who is completely jacked up.

My man either wasnt beat enough or entirely too much ... please properly DISCIPLINE your kids.
