In society, we're very materialistic and judgemental; therefore we disregard people's personalities if they don't meet our physical needs. A man's worth to a woman nowadays, is based on how much money he has in his pocket rather than how well he treats the woman he's with. That's sad considering how much women complain about chivalry being dead when women do nothing to deserve special treatment and just assume a man has to do everything for her with nothing in return.
Being with a man just for his money is much more shallow and judgemental than ignoring someone because they're not attractive. On the other hand, a man will ignore a woman if she doesn't have a cute face, nice body, etc. If the physical doesn't meet up with the mental process, then a relationship can't grow enough to even find out how well their personality is. That's the sad truth. The term "it's what's on the inside that counts," is TOTAL BS. People don't care to get to know what's "inside" if they're not attracted to the "outside". Simple as that. Just remember that you're not going to be attractive to everybody.
