Autism is a mental handicap that effects many people and is usually detected in early childhood. Despite what many may think or have heard, it does not mean that people effected by it are not as intelligent as others. In fact, many people with autism are way more intelligent than most people. The reason that people may feel this way is because autism simply puts a person in their own little world. They tend to have repetitive behavior and problems socializing. They cannot communicate the way that most people can. Some sources say that autism is cause by genetic defects while others say that childhood immunizations are the cause of it. Celebrities such as Holly Robinson-Peete, Jim Carrey, Jenny McCarthy and Toni Braxton all have autistic children and have spoken out about this.
The reason that this came to my mind is because the beginning of 50 Tyson's music video mentioned autism. I think whoever laughs at him should feel bad because he cannot help the way he is.
